Advantages of staying in Hawaii
- The weather is awesome
- Health issues go away (ashtma, excema, allergies)
- Good friends are here who understand my nx life
Advantages of California
- more job opportunities
- Miljean, Karly, and Char (as well as some Nx friends who will be back home)
- It’s the original “home”
- weather change
Disadvantages of Hawaii
- everything’s the same all the time and I get island fever
- Not as many job opportunities
- My family is home in California
- Unstable transportation
- After this semester and my original level graduates, some friends are moving home.. some I won’t see b/c i only see them during school, everyone will be doing their own thing.
Disadvantages of California
- I don’t know if i could stand summer 100 degrees and winter 40 degrees anymore!
- Most my friends have lives of their own so if anything, i’ll see them on the weekends at most.
- It’s not Hawaii.
ipsofacto, i miss school. i’ve always hated too much time off b/c that means i think too much.. and when i think too much i either get sad, depressed, or frustrated/irritated. This is especially one of those times because i know not what the hell to do with myself. but like maybelle said, pass NCleX first.. Ash told me to start applying to newgrad programs already.. whatever. i’m glad cheryl got me this receptionist job just to say i have some medical experience! Thank goodness! Anyways. that’s where i stand right now.. what the hell to do with myself from here on out as a new graduate.. and i wonder where the hell i’ll end up.
